We take a 'holistic' approach to health and wellbeing

This means that we consider every clients situation uniquely in the context of their health history, their lifestyle and their personal circumstances before looking into how we could help them.
Adjusting is a healing art, and as a health care practise is based on the premise that good healthcare depends, in part, upon a normally functioning nervous system.

Chiropractors are governed by a governing body called the General Chiropractic Council. In order to call yourself a chiropractor you must feature on their register. Chiropractors are able to diagnose and treat certain health conditions. They are able to refer, justify and operate an X Ray Machine. They are able to make referrals to GPs and other health practitioners. They are deemed key workers. Chiropractors undergo a 4 year course and must be insured in order to practice in the UK.

Spinologists main role is to locate and remove interference in the body through the power of an adjustment. This in turn balances the human bodies’ nervous system and enables it to ensure maximum healing to the best of its ability. Spinologists do not have a regulatory body and are able to practice in the UK with a certificate of qualification and an insurance.

Spinologists and Chiropractors both use adjustments to help their clients but have differing philosophical belief of how the body benefits from these.

Our members of staff are all human potential advocates. This means that they believe that all clients should have the support and structure to reach their human potential in their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. They work with our practitioners, therapists and trainers to help our clients reach theirs in a holistic and nurturing environment.
An X Ray must be referred and justified by a Chiropractor if an x ray is able to be taken. This is done in a 1 hour long appointment with a chiropractor. Only if a chiropractor can justify the x ray and sees the need for one, will one be taken. There is a lot to consider and so decisions are made on a one to one basis. Just because you have an hours long consultation with a chiropractor does not mean you will be entitled to one.
A cal scan is a bone fracture analysis. It will give you a T score on which you can understand how strong your bone structure is. It is important that you understand that we do not have a medical doctor on site and therefore we are not able to diagnose and treat osteoporosis. We would use the cal scan as a baseline assessment for our osteogenic loading clients. We would then repeat this scan after 1 year. Clients would then be a able to compare their bone risk assessment to see how they have strengthened their bones over the year.
Osteogenic Loading is a way of putting force through your skeletal system in a safe and controlled way to work to strengthen your bone structure. This is done through a one to one session with a personal trainer.
You may be introduced to our services through one service, either through a friendly referral or through your own self research. Once you use one of our services you can speak to a member of staff who will be able to support you further.
We currently offer memberships for Personal Training and osteogenic loading only. In 2023 we will be looking to extend our memberships to other services.
We currently offer financial plans on Chiropractic, Zone technique, CFR, red light therapy and biocharger. If you buy a number of sessions up front you get a discounted rate for them. We do allow refunds. If you request a refund before all sessions have been used up then we charge you the standard rate of each service and you will be refunded the remaining total left. Therefore you need to complete all sessions in order to get the discounted rate.
This is the air between your joints. The noise is nothing to worry about and is different for different adjustments and different people.
Each adjustment builds on the last one. In order to ensure a structural change occurs and not just a symptomatic one, you will need to follow a course of care with some maintenance.
There is pay and display parking on our street. The first hour is free but you must register your number plate. You can do this at the parking meter or on an app you can download to your mobile phone. You are able to park in the street for up to 5 hours.
This is dependent on which service you are visiting us for and which therapist, practitioner, trainer you will be seeing. For more specific details please speak to a member of staff at the time of your booking.
For your spinal adjustments, you may wear everyday clothes although we do advise not to wear too much jewellery or heavy belts. On your initial visit as a new client we will need access to your spine and so a gown is supplied.
Ben has decided to voluntarily remove himself from the chiropractic register due to personal choice and philosophical reasons. In 2023 Ben will be working to develop the school of Spinology in the UK and has decided to practice as a Spinologist using Zone Technique and Advanced Cranial Techniques as not to be a conflict of interest.
